A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with coordination of staff and client involvement in day-to-day program activities. Your people skills will be crucial in making an impact and helping to change lives. This is a challenging and rewarding position. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment that works to foster growth and rehabilitation and strives to facilitate the development of the individual's ability to reach the highest level of independence.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Delivers purposeful age-appropriate activities and supports for participants.
Upholds all SOAR365 Core Values.
Coaches direct support professionals when working with participants.
Coaches staff on how to implement activities with participants.
When the Supervisor is absent, responsible for assigning staff notes in NETSMART and ensures notes are completed
Recommends staff that need counseling to the Supervisor.
Implements activities, using specified training techniques and interventions, related to, but not limited to, developing client social interaction skills, personal hygiene training, motor skill coordination, and activities etc.
Provides participants with personal care/hygiene support as needed.
Provides direct training, supervision and support to participants during all activities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Medication Administration certified or will obtain within 60 days of starting date and maintains certification throughout employment completing continuing education and recertification requirements as defined by SOAR365 in a timely manner.
Holds a valid driving license with an acceptable driving record and maintains driving eligibility during the course of employment
High School / GED graduation required.
One year of experience working with persons with disabilities required.
