Mid-Michigan ENT is seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this essential role, you will provide outstanding service to our patients, and ensure efficient office operations. As a Medical Front Desk Receptionist, your responsibilities will include greeting patients, registering patients for their office visit, validating insurances, and creating follow up appointments. Warmly greet patients and visitors upon arrival.

Check patients in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate collection of information.

Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with other staff to optimize practice flow.

Respond to inquiries, and assist with patient concerns.

Collect and process payments, including patient co-pays and balances.

Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes.

Keep the front office area organized and welcoming.

Collaborate with clinical staff to support overall patient care.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in office software and electronic medical records systems.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient service.
