Compensation: $25 - $35 / hour
Body Shop Technician Responsibilities:
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
Communicate directly with the Collision Manager so that customers and insurance companies can be informed if any additional service is needed
Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Experienced in frame repairs per. manufacturer specifications, including frame alignment and replacements
Welding certifications ICAR preferred, Steel and Aluminum
Body Shop Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as a collision technician
Knowledge in all aspects of collision repair and frame repair helpful
Fast, eager learner and team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
ICAR Gold preffered
