Job Description
TA Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of materials in inventory and on order, monitoring reorder points, and initiating stock replenishment when needed. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.
Pay: $18.00-24.00/
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inventory counts and ensure accuracy in records per company policy
Maintain adequate stock levels to meet customer demand
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in quantity and location of inventory
Analyze inventory trends on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
Conduct regular cycle counts of product inventory
Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate customer orders
Accurately place and receive orders in a timely manner
File claims for defective products and coordinate replacements
Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams
Monitor expiration dates and coordinate removal or transfer of outdated products
Test processes and systems to identify data, productivity, or efficiency issues
Build and maintain trusted supplier relationships
Follow plant safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Record work completed through an online data collection systemQualifications:
Basic shop math proficiency
Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team-oriented, flexible, and responsive
Eagerness to learn and improve technical knowledge
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions
Proven ability to work well in a team environment
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
