Job Description

Divergent is a technology company that has architected, invented, built, and commercialized an end-to-end factory system called the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS™) that comprehensively uses machine learning to optimally engineer, additively manufacture, and flexibly assemble complex integrated vehicle structures and subsystems. Products created using DAPS are superior in performance, lower in cost, rapidly customizable to meet mission and customer-specific requirements, faster to market, and scalable on demand to high volume production. Divergent is a qualified Tier 1 supplier to global automotive OEMs, and Divergent is now expanding to support mission critical needs in the Aerospace and Defense sector. Join us to be a part of this transformative journey, where your impact will shape the future of technology and production.

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and driven Logistics Manager to develop and oversee the logistics infrastructure across both companies. This role requires deep understanding of complex manufacturing supply chains, the transportation of high-value and precision-engineered components, and the flexibility to support both product development and scaled production environments.

You will lead efforts to optimize the movement of materials, ensure regulatory compliance, manage third-party logistics providers, and enhance the overall agility and efficiency of our operations. You will work closely with teams across engineering, procurement, production, and finance to ensure logistics aligns with fast-moving project timelines and long-term growth goals. The Role

Strategic Logistics Management

Design, implement, and manage an integrated logistics strategy that supports both Divergent's additive manufacturing workflows and Czinger's vehicle production schedules.

Lead logistics planning for prototype and pre-production builds, low-volume production, and full vehicle lifecycle delivery.

Create scalable systems to support increasing volume while maintaining flexibility for custom programs.

Transportation & Freight

Manage all inbound and outbound freight activities (domestic and international), including time-sensitive shipments of raw materials, 3D-printed structures, and completed vehicles.

Negotiate and manage contracts with freight forwarders, couriers, and 3PLs; track performance against service-level agreements (SLAs).

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with global trade, customs, ITAR, and export/import regulations.

Systems & Data Management

Utilize and optimize logistics modules within ERP, MES, and TMS systems; support digital transformation initiatives in the supply chain.

Develop dashboards and KPIs for logistics performance (e.g., OTIF delivery, freight cost per unit, shipping accuracy, damage rates).

Integrate with engineering and operations for logistics inputs to NPI (new product introduction) and production readiness reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as logistics SME (subject matter expert) on cross-functional teams with engineering, R&D, finance, compliance, and customer support.

Participate in launch planning and post-launch support for new Czinger and Divergent programs.

Act as the logistics point-of-contact for executive briefings and operational reviews. Basic Qualifications

Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline.

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in logistics or operations management, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing.

Demonstrated success in managing international logistics and global supply chains.

Deep understanding of logistics compliance, including international trade regulations, Incoterms, and hazardous materials handling.

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP), TMS tools, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in early-stage or scale-up manufacturing environments.

Familiarity with additive manufacturing logistics or just-in-sequence automotive production.

APICS, CLTD, Six Sigma, or Lean certifications a plus. Work Environment
