Gasser Chair is looking for a part-time Material Handler to join our team! In business for over 79 years, we are the premier manufacturer of built to order seating products. The extensive line of Gasser Chair seating is stylish, durable, comfortable and function-specific for all popular casino games, as well as for hospitality and institutional needs, including conference and desk seating.

We are looking for the right candidate for our Material Handler position. The goal for this candidate will be to assist in both Shipping and Receiving.

Summary description:

Load/unload trucks, verifying accuracy of manifests, packing lists, or orders against parts and count of pieces.

Ensure all outgoing materials are appropriately and accurately marked.

Use appropriate material handling equipment to transfer material from work station to work station.

Maintain holding and storage areas in a neat and organized fashion.

Pack, seal, and label, and prepare materials for shipping as directed.

Clear inventory space, organize materials, verify counts and helping to load and unload items as necessary.

Skills/Qualifications

Prior ERP experience

Proficient in operating a computer

Accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure

Tow motor experience with the ability to pass company certification

Physical Requirements

Walking and standing up to 10 hours per day, ability to stoop, bend, kneel, reach, pull, and frequently lift up to 75 pounds, and other physical labor requirements that coincide with assigned job duties.
