Job Title: Machinist

Location: Santa Maria, California

Job Description:

An immediate opening is available for a full-time, experienced Machinist in a fast-paced manufacturing support role.

Minimum Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Machinist

Industrial trade school or college courses preferred

Must have own tools (Annual tool allowance provided)

Duties:

Machining parts, jigs, and dies for repair and fabrication of plant equipment, shop tools, and manufacturing dies

Using precision measuring equipment, technical manuals, and reading blueprints

Following instructions accurately

Responsibilities:

Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments

Modify parts and materials to enhance production

Test completed equipment to identify and eliminate defects

Perform routine maintenance on machinery

Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments

Qualifications:

Previous experience in machinery or related fields

Familiarity with machine tools and equipment

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to pass a written pre-employment knowledge and skills test

Additional Requirements:

Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
