The Bread For Life Golf Tournament is a key fundraiser that supports our missionand this summer internship is a vital part of making it a success.

Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and creative Summer Intern, who needs class credit, to support our efforts in advertising, sponsorship outreach, and fundraising for the 2025 Bread For Life Golf Tournament. The intern will also help create materials to raise broader awareness and support for Bread For Lifes mission throughout the summer.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a student or young professional interested in nonprofit work, marketing, or fundraising. The intern will work closely with our leadership team to engage sponsors, promote the tournament, and help build the tools that inspire donations and long-term support.

Key Responsibilities

Support the development of sponsorship outreach materials including packets, pitch decks, and follow-up emails

Create marketing and promotional content for the golf tournament and general Bread For Life awareness (social media graphics, flyers, email newsletters, etc.)

Assist in maintaining a database of sponsor contacts, prospects, and donor leads

Help manage sponsor communication, acknowledgments, and benefits tracking

Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all materials

Research local businesses and potential partners aligned with our mission

Contribute to overall fundraising strategy for the golf tournament and summer campaign

Participate in team meetings (remote or in-person, depending on availability)

Ideal Candidate

A current student in need of class credit

Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations, or related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable using social media and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)

Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Passion for community impact, youth empowerment, and nonprofit work

Access to a computer and internet connection; ability to work independently
