Job Title: Fin Tube Operator Assistant (Helper)
Location:Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm
Pay:$16-18/hr DOE
Description:
We are looking for a reliable and driven Fin Tube Operator Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in assisting Fin Tube Operators in the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop skills and advance into a Fin Tube Operator role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Fin Tube Operators with the setup, operation, and teardown of equipment.
Help in loading and unloading materials needed for production, including tubes, fins, and other components.
Monitor production processes to ensure equipment is running smoothly and notify operators of any issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following company procedures for safety and cleanliness.
Help inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Stage materials and packaging for the day’s production needs.
Assist in packaging of finished products, including materials handling when required.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Perform other duties as directed by the Fin Tube Operator or supervisor.
Skills and Requirements:
Strong team player with the ability to follow directions and collaborate with others.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet production deadlines.
Ability to use measuring tools like tape measures and calipers.
Dependable, punctual, and responsible with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Physically able to stand, bend, twist, and lift materials throughout the shift.
Willingness to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a Fin Tube Operator in the future.
Education/Experience Desired:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Familiarity with basic mechanical operations or machinery is a plus.

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
* Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
* Examine completed workpieces for defects, such as chipped edges or marred surfaces and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
* Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.
* Set stops on machine beds, change dies, and adjust components, such as rams or power presses, when making multiple or successive passes.
* Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
* Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
* Position, align, and secure workpieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies.
* Position guides, stops, holding blocks, or other fixtures to secure and direct workpieces, using hand tools and measuring devices.
* Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of cutting lines, or dimensions and tolerances.
* Install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
* Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
* Load workpieces, plastic material, or chemical solutions into machines.
* Adjust ram strokes of presses to specified lengths, using hand tools.
* Clean and lubricate machines.
* Mark identifying data on workpieces.
* Clean work area.
* Plan sequences of operations, applying knowledge of physical properties of workpiece materials.
* Operate forklifts to deliver materials.
* Lubricate workpieces with oil.
* Hand-form, cut, or finish workpieces, using tools such as table saws, hand sledges, or anvils.
* Remove housings, feed tubes, tool holders, or other accessories to replace worn or broken parts, such as springs or bushings.
* Grind out burrs or sharp edges, using portable grinders, speed lathes, or polishing jacks.
* Thread ends of metal coils from reels through slitters and secure ends on recoilers.
* Place workpieces on cutting tables, manually or using hoists, cranes, or sledges.
