High School Assistant Softball Coach

Summary:

The High School Assistant Softball Coach at Bethany High School will work with the Head Coach to develop and implement a successful softball program. This is a part-time position that requires a commitment to the team and the ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and games

- Provide instruction and guidance to players on skills and techniques

- Help develop game strategies and tactics

- Attend all practices, games, and team meetings

- Assist with equipment management and maintenance

- Help monitor academic progress and behavior of players

- Foster a positive team culture and sportsmanship

- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Requirements:

- Experience playing and/or coaching softball at a competitive level

- Knowledge of softball rules, strategies, and techniques

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with high school students

- Commitment to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic success

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Must pass a background check and meet all state and district requirements for coaching.
