Job Overview
The Lab Process and Order Manager will track, prioritize, isolate, and expedite problem orders and those requiring expert attention. Their expertise will also be key in creating, defining, testing, and implementing new products, processes, and workflows. Additionally, the Lab Process and Order Manager shall support and serve as a resource for manufacturing effectiveness, within the facility, by:
Assessing current processes and needs, developing, coordinating, planning, and implementing revised workflows, systems, and tools; consistent with the strategic goals and vision of the organization. Facilitates the education of new and continuing associates both technically and philosophically, maintains consistency through sharing of information, supports our continuous improvement/quality service culture as a resource for supervisor/manager level support, and maximizes the effectiveness of the manufacturing platform through positive impacts on metrics.
Work with project teams to implement new programs, software, and initiatives. Maintains local site-specific Jiras and acts as the liaison with tech and development teams on system improvement or needs .

Management of the annual Q4 clean up. Assisting as needed, Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and product GMs. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple priorities and develop effective solutions. Demonstrated project and process management skills as well as a strong mechanical aptitude.
Should be able to plan, control, coordinate and prioritize late product/orders in accordance with SLA guidelines. Anticipates and plans for process integration opportunities that support business objectives. Creates process changes by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicates these changes to affected areas. Capable of identifying and defining potential process and systems issues; escalating and partnering with the appropriate teams, as required.
Lead/assist in the defining, testing and implementation of processes/workflows, for new product launches. Able to design training manuals, training plans, support materials and modules for all new products and processes. Maintain confidentiality and strict compliance with the companys security policy related to potential access to sensitive information. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Detail Requirements
High School diploma/ GED required, and/or equivalent experience. ? Excellent verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal communication skills, coupled with a positive, confident, and outgoing personality. Extended hours during peak season (Oct-Dec). ? Maintain and abide by all safety practices and processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent people management skills. Working Conditions: Significant walking, bending, standing Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms. Level of Supervision Received: Under little supervision, proceeds alone on regular duties and implementing change as needed with consultation from supervisor.
