Job Description
The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the accounting operations of a rapidly
growing restaurant chain with multiple locations across California, Texas, Oregon, and Seattle.
This position will involve a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and
financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger. Perform account reconciliations and ensure proper classification of transactions.
Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses to identify trends and areas for cost savings. Work closely with management to develop and implement expense control measures.
Bank Reconciliation: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances and transactions.
Financial Analysis: Assist in financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis and budget vs. actual comparisons. Provide insights to management to support decision-making.
Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Audit Support: Support external auditors during the annual audit process. Provide documentation and explanations as needed.Qualifications:
BA degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (e,g R365).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience in the restaurant industry a plus
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Salary ranges: $80,000 - $85,000 per year
