Meadowview of Clive, a senior community in Clive, Iowa, is hiring an experienced Culinary Director to lead our culinary team. Our senior community has 106-units for residents including independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. In this role, you will direct the overall operations of the Food & Nutrition Services department to ensure quality food and nutritional services are provided to our residents. You will also ensure our residents receive a first-class dining experience through supervising and staffing exceptional dietary aides.
This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position.
$58-65,000
Culinary Director responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative menus aligned with seasonal trends and customer preferences
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary team
Establish and enforce food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
Manage food cost, labor budgets, and vendor relationships
Collaborate with marketing, procurement, and operations to align culinary initiatives with business goals
Conduct regular audits and provide feedback to improve kitchen performance and efficiency
Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate best practices into daily operationsCulinary Director skills and requirements:
2+ years of leadership/ supervisory experience required
Culinary Degree, Associate Degree preferred
Certified in ServSafe or equivalent food safety program
