The Role

Metropolis is looking for a Strategy & Operations Analyst to drive analysis and develop insights in support of 2-3 transformation workstreams and act as a thought partner to the Transformation Manager and IOs. This role will drive and focus on high-impact problem-solving, acceleration, and increase of impact on these workstreams.

Responsibilities

Support Transformation Manager and partners with 2-3 workstreams to deliver increase and accelerate impact in specific initiatives

Develop insight and drive analysis in close coordination with WSL, IO and Transformation Manager, articulating the key questions to answer, developing hypotheses, create a workplan, identify data sources and analysis methodology, developing analytical models, understanding the output and preparing presentation of the results

Synthesize insights for problem solving sessions and leadership readouts

Support Transformation manager to pressure test initiative pipeline for 2-3 workstreams

Assist in problem solving and identification for IOs

Be a thought partner to the Transformation Manager on how to increase and accelerate impact, including workstream specific change management

Qualifications

2+ years experience working in professional service environments i.e. management consulting or investment banking, is highly preferred

Strong modeling and data analysis skills using Excel, Python etc

Track record of consistently delivering high-impact results

Excellent problem solving and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a high pace environment

Experience working in professional service environments, especially management consulting or investment banking, is highly preferred

Bachelor's degree is required

The anticipated base salary for this position is $85,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis's total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
