American Bolt Corporation in New Berlin, WI is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate with a home base in Shipping/Order Fill on 2nd shift. Are you looking to learn and grow in a warehouse? WORK SCHEDULE

2nd Shift: 11 AM - 7:30 PM Monday - Friday

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working in a warehouse environment - shipping, order filling, and/or receiving

Forklift experience

Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHIPPING/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

In Shipping, you play a key role in accurately fulfilling the needs of our customers. This Warehouse Associate will work in Shipping as an Order Filler, but will also be expected to learn and flex to Receiving and Kitting. In Shipping/Order Fill, you will be responsible for accurately, efficiently, and safely picking and packing customer orders. You do so using an RFQ scanner, you will use bolt gauges to check picked product for accuracy, follow picking instructions, communicate with inspection for any discrepancies, and help with housekeeping in the warehouse areas to maintain a safe workspace. As you grow, there will be opportunities to learn receiving functions as well as help the Kit Room kit and package parts. You carefully follow all policies and procedures and keep our inventory clean and organized throughout your entire shift.

At times, heavy lifting and operating machinery are required, but you always follow safety standards. There is never a dull moment on the job, and you keep up with the fast-paced environment with no trouble. You find great satisfaction in maintaining order and helping others, which is why you are perfect for this position!
