Master Planner

Developing and Maintaining Production Schedules: Creating and updating the master production schedule (MPS), which outlines what needs to be produced and when.

Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing price risk. Manage Slow Moving and Off-Grade Inventory.

Capacity Planning: Analyzing production capacity and identifying potential bottlenecks. Calculate and report utilization impact.

Demand Forecasting: Working with sales to understand customer forecasted demand versus supply capability

Cost Management: Monitoring actual costs against the budget, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to stay within budget.

Coordination and Communication: Collaborating with various departments, including sales, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and meet customer requirements.

Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that may impact production schedules or inventory levels.

Data Analysis: Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

Report Generation: Creating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP): Supporting the S&OP process by providing supply and inventory plans.

Education:

Bachelor's degree: Business, Supply Chain, Chemical or a related field

Relevant Experience: Experience in manufacturing, process manufacturing, inventory control, or production environments is highly desirable.

Familiarity with ERP Systems: SAP experience preferred
