Heavy Equipment Operator (Front End Loader & Skid Steer)

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a dependable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating front end loaders and skid steers, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. This position starts at 4:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment including front end loaders and skid steers to transport raw materials and finished products.

Support manufacturing operations by loading and unloading materials, managing scrap, and maintaining a clean work area.

Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure safe operation.

Follow production schedules, load plans, and supervisor instructions.

Maintain safe and organized work zones in compliance with facility safety standards.

Report equipment malfunctions and assist with routine maintenance when necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating front end loaders and skid steers in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Ability to work a 4:00 AM start time, Monday through Friday.

Strong safety awareness and commitment to following OSHA and company safety policies.

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active manufacturing environment.

Heavy Equipment Operator certification or OSHA 10/30 is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in material handling, warehouse, or plant operations.

Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

Willingness to work overtime as needed, including occasional weekends.
