Oracle ERP (Finance) Engineer

Techstra is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle EPM Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled technical and functional expert, with expertise in Oracle EPM and EDM Cloud Services, to join our team.

Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using Oracle EPM, EDM Components, and other software technologies.

Integrate EPM with other systems using Agents, APIs, web services, and middleware.

Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Provide functional expertise in EPM and EDMCS modules to support business processes and requirements.

Perform data provision, integration, and deployment activities.

Develop and maintain EPM and EDMCS relevant solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EPM applications and integrations.

Support creating SmartView templates/retrieval sheets and financial reports.

Support month-end closing and fiscal year end closing.

Experience in developing, designing, analyzing, and implementing various applications using Oracle EPM, and other such as Hyperion Reports.

Demonstrated proficiency in configuring and customizing EPM solutions.

Worked on financial reporting systems and Decision Support Systems.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle EPM, EDMCS, Planning, FCCS, Narrative reporting and capital planning, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and managing the EPM environment.

Accurate and timely consolidation of financial data from various subsidiaries

Compliance with regulatory and accounting standards (IFRS and GAAP)

Automated, auditable financial close process

Chart of Accounts management

Reference Data Alignment

Planning and Budgeting, Profitability and Cost Management, Financial Close and Consolidation

GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Tax Management

Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts and Product Resource Management

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience with Oracle EPM and EDM Cloud Services.

Solution design, Implementation, and Support of various Oracle EPM Cloud / On-Prem products.

Experience in maintaining Oracle Cloud EPM & EDM applications and working with Oracle support.

Prior experience maintaining and updating SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio, Cubes, Integrations, reporting, configurations, exception handling, and data quality / control.

Strong experience in updating calc scripts, business rules, web forms and reports.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions / configuration.

Excellent collaborative and client relationship skills.

Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile methodology).

Location: This position is in Pittsburgh.
