Assistant Store Manager

Job Description

Job Summary:

As the Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in daily operations, lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, and help maintain the unique charm and organization of our store. You’ll oversee staff, manage inventory, and help ensure our customers leave with smiles and sweet memories.

Responsibilities:

Assist with closing the store

Lead and motivate team members to meet customer service and sales goals

Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store remains clean, safe, and organized

Help manage inventory, restocking, and product displays

Support in hiring, training, and supervising team members

Resolve customer issues with a positive and professional attitude

Oversee cash handling and daily reconciliation procedures

Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus

2+ years of retail or customer service experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Enthusiastic, dependable, and able to lead a diverse team

Passion for vintage culture, candy, and pop culture a bonus!

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
