Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Residential Counselor/Caregiver Job Description

KMS is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP)/Residential Counselors/Caregivers to work in residential homes or community settings.

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver will provide caregiving assistance in all areas of daily living for adults with mental health/intellectual disability diagnoses

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver will collaborate with the treatment team in order to properly implement goals listed in Individual Support plans (ISP)

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver will ensure proper hygiene and sanitation by assisting and implementing cleaning skills

Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Caregiver will provide medication administration/monitoring

Educational and Credentialing Requirements

Minimum: High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma

AND

Valid Driver's License (cannot be expired or suspended)

COVID-19 vaccination for most shifts in Philadelphia

Vaccination Exemption Letters are accepted but must be approved

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time (Temp to Perm)

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
