Masters Machine Company in Bristol Maine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment law, talent acquisition, and performance management, as well as the ability to coordinate training and development programs.
Summary: The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the day-to-day HR functions. Responsibilities including recruitment, on-boarding, retention of staff, payroll, benefits administration, performance appraisals, training, and creating and enforcing policies and procedures that comply with employment laws and regulations as well as promoting a positive company culture. This is not a remote position, onsite only.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with Human Resource Management
Minimum of 5 years prior experience in an HR role
Knowledge of employment law
Positive and approachable manner
Adaptable to change and possess a willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
Ability to accept and provide feedback, be challenged on your advice and work well under pressure
Detailed Oriented
Organizational and planning skills
Excellent communication skills
Aptitude in problem-solving, critical thinking and judgement skills
Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach
The ability to be flexible, self-directed, and motivated
Proficient in MS Office
