What is the position?
The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for ensuring successful onboarding, configuration, and adoption of production tracking and data capture solutions. This role will serve as a key liaison between internal technical teams and clients in the upstream and midstream oil & gas sectors.
What are the responsibilities?
As an Implementation Specialist, you will:
Partner with clients to assess operational needs and define implementation requirements.
Prepare and align production and field data for seamless software integration.
Coordinate internal and client-side project tasks for smooth rollouts.
Customize software systems to meet specific client workflows.
Conduct testing and data validation to ensure performance and reliability.
Deliver end-user training and produce support documentation.
Support go-live events and early-stage user engagement.
Identify ways to enhance the implementation process and overall client satisfaction.
What are the requirements?
2+ years in a technical or analytical role within upstream oil & gas operations
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Education, or related field preferred
In-depth knowledge of production workflows and field data processes
Strong communication and project coordination skills
Skilled in Excel, Office 365, and basic SQL
Familiarity with oil & gas production platforms like Scout, FieldDirect, Peloton, Quorum, or P2 preferred
Experience with reporting tools (e.g., JasperSoft, QuickSight, Spotfire) and certifications in PMP or Agile are a plus
