Project Manager/Scrum Master

Job Description

The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading the execution and delivery of web based application and RFID solutions and serve as key escalation point for risks and issues within the end-to-end project management life cycle. The ideal person would be able to “own” their projects and ensure that the team adheres to Scrum framework. This person should be an effective influencer, collaborator, right hand to the Director and experienced in building relationships and trust across diverse teams/locations. We are searching for someone who possesses in-depth knowledge of Project Management methodologies (Agile/Scrum), Project Management Office governance procedures.

Job Duties:

Collaborate with Product Owner, Solutions Architect and Technical Lead to deliver the vision and customer experience for the RFID digital solution development and deployment.

Run all team meetings, including Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective while supporting the Product Owner on optimizing and realizing Sprint goals.

Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests in addition to collaborating with cross functional teams to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur.

Partner with business leadership team, local Technology teams, corporate development teams and vendors (for product integrations) to drive delivery and navigate risks and issues.

Prepare and implement project plans to manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects (i.e., resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions and dependencies).

Manage work streams, prepares status reports and interfaces with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives while coordinating activities of project personnel with relevant stakeholders to ensure progress within time and budget constraints.

Lead the internal & external resources required to deliver the program, and is responsible for adhering to the program governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders).

Run status meetings/daily stand ups/working sessions related to the Project, tracks actions and follow up items in addition to leveraging project collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps.

Enhance program and project management capabilities and operational oversight. Develops, edits and executes project plans to manage the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects.

Interface with and present to executive level stakeholders e.g. Board Members, Management Committee, etc.

Education & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree is required

Strong communication skills in (written and verbal)

6-7+ years’ experience managing digital product life cycles is a must

Proven experience prioritizing, budgeting, estimating, project implementation

Must have strong understanding of Agile methodology

Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design, QA, UAT, and all other groups involved in the end-to-end process needed to define, design, and deploy product capabilities

Plus:

Agile SAFe certifications are a plus

Previous experience implementing RFID technology is a plus
