Job Description
As we open our operations in Stafford, VA, we are seeking an experienced and
highly organized Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our
warehouse, ensuring seamless logistics management, and possessing expertise in
international import and export processes. This hands-on role requires attention
to detail, ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and experience using ERP
software for comprehensive supply chain management.
Compensation: $70,000.00 per year
Location: Stafford VA 22554
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8AM-5:00PM
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse activities.
Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Create and maintain ERP data integrity while performing all material movement transactions, and ensure that all documents are filed and posted correctly.
Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet customer requirements.
Coordinate transportation, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling.
Manage all aspects of international import and export operations, while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to facilitate smooth cross-border movements.
Stay abreast of international trade regulations and tariffs.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of inventory. Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
Qualifications:
PROVEN EXPERIENCE in warehouse management and logistics coordination,
utilizing an ERP system to manage and control all the material
movement transactions.
Strong knowledge of logistic processes, international regulations, and customs procedures.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.
OSHA Forklift Certification.
Hazardous materials handling.
Ability to perform in a fast-moving environment and deal with uncertainties.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.
Familiarity with safety regulations and warehouse management standards.
