Role Summary: At Calvary, the faith of the next generation is worth everything, and the YTH Lead is responsible for implementing an environment at the campus where grades 6-12 are able to explore and live out their faith through worship, small groups, serving and giving…and having some fun along the way. The YTH Leader understands that volunteer leaders are critical to a flourishing program and is also focused on training, equipping and leading volunteers to walk alongside students.
Role Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the NextGen Pastor on the creation and implementation a comprehensive growth track leading grades 6-12 (includes regular teaching/preaching)
Train, equip and lead YTH volunteers to facilitate small group conversations, serve as mentors and walk alongside middle and high school students
Coordinate and lead mission trips, retreats, camps and summer programming
Cultivate relationships on campus at local middle and high schools
Develop and manage annual budget for YTH ministry
Collaborate and coordinate with the NextGen Team
Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including attendance, retention and growth track progress
Other duties as assigned

Leaders are prepared weekly by the resources provided.
All volunteer leaders have been vetted, trained and tracked in our Safe Haven process.
Key Performance Indicators are regularly input and reported.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in ministry-related field or equivalent experience
Prior experience serving in a middle and/or high school ministry program is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven organizational and administrative skills
Will require Wednesday evening and Sunday morning shifts.
Up to 15 hours per week.
