About the Role & Team

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will have a key role in the enterprise Time Consolidation Program project efforts to onboard populations across the company onto new time management platforms. This includes documentation for the current/future processes, ensuring detailed requirements are captured and will meet the business needs, managing client relationships, configuring tables, reports, complex business pay rules & policies, and ensuring comprehensive testing is completed successfully. This role requires a strong technical skillset and will have the accountability for ensuring that proposed solutions meet business strategies while effectively integrating with systems and other functional partners. They drive progress on each assigned task; with emphasis that the project documentation is effectively and efficiently configured while ensuring compliance. This role would be responsible for timely and open communication with business partners, leadership and project team. This position will report to the Manager, Financial Systems, with testing assignments/direction coming from both reporting Manager and Financial Systems Manager. Come be part of this dynamic team!

What You Will Do

Process Support and Governance

Focus on ensuring changes to requirements are accurately detailed and coordinated into test scripts to ensure accurate time recording

Supporting change management efforts through testing, documentation, and training

Supports end users and responds to issues (data or process); takes appropriate action to bring up and/or resolve issues

Stays ahead of technology and solutions for key time/finance processes and business analytics

Documents system/process best practices

Project System Configuration and Testing

Understand the system requirements and process what can be automated

Build user stories that will thoroughly ensure system functionality meets business needs as assigned (functional, end to end, integration, user acceptance, payroll compare)

Map current business processes and identify gaps when comparing current and future state design raise awareness to concerns / risks in timely fashion

Identify creative solutions in time system that meet client needs for accurate time recording and management

As part of the Agile scrum team, report testing results and system issues while escalating concerns

Supports and partner with users throughout the user acceptance testing process

Interact with peers, partners, IT, other segments and subject matter experts to support system implementations as needed

Executes project activities to ensure project progresses on schedule

Communicates with leadership, subject matter experts and project team members as needed based on assigned responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience setting up and configuring time recording systems

Experience in using SAP or another ERP

Experience developing end user training

Ability to demonstrate a strong business acumen

Experience working in and understanding ALM

Experience with internal Disney time & payroll functions

Be familiar with current best practices in workforce management and time management while working and connecting with multiple peers and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Configuration experience/knowledge in Infor Workforce Management software.

Experience/knowledge in Agile methodology.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

The hiring range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, Florida is $108,200.00 to $132,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
