Job Summary:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a Business Analyst skill set or a Business Analyst with Project Management experience to support the Human Resources (HR) team's implementation of JIRA. This role will work closely with the JIRA Product Owner, HR Director, and BITS Manager to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the JIRA solution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project coordination, stakeholder communication, system testing, and change management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information.
Develop detailed project plans, break down activities into actionable tasks, and set completion timelines.
Work closely with the HR team to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
Establish and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), including writing test cases, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring fixes are verified.
Ensure alignment with business needs and objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, document key milestones, and escalate issues as needed.
Provide timely and clear project status updates to stakeholders.
ssist the project team in identifying and resolving blockers, escalating when necessary.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including workflow diagrams transitioning from the current state to the future state.
Support change management initiatives to drive project success and adoption.
Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management.
Strong business analysis experience.
Prior experience with JIRA software implementation is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Human Resources processes and systems is a plus.
