Job Description:
• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Electrical/ System Test Engineer with (5 - 8) years of experience in embedded hardware testing, including 2-3 years in the medical device/ health care industry.
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in analog, digital, and mixed-signal testing, part and assembly-level qualification, and hands-on experience with a wide range of test instruments and serial communication interfaces.
• Experience with defect tracking, team collaboration, and tools like Jira and AccuRev are essential.
• Lead and execute embedded hardware testing for electrical systems and subassemblies.
• Perform part and assembly-level qualification testing to validate performance and reliability.
• Conduct analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit testing using advanced test instruments.
• Operate and control test equipment via serial communication interfaces.
• Evaluate and characterize low-voltage signal chain components, including analog op-amp circuits.
• Review, execute, and occasionally update test protocols and scripts.
• Track and manage defects and issues using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth execution of test plans and schedules.
• (5 - 8) years of experience in electrical and embedded hardware testing for quality, safety & performance verification of electro-mechanical devices
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in medical device testing.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Proficient in using and controlling test instruments via RS232, RS485, RS422, GPIB, and Ethernet interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, and analog op-amp testing.
• Familiarity with low-voltage signal chain testing.
• Experience with test documentation, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and version control systems (e.g., AccuRev).
• Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and coordinate testing activities.
• Familiarity with automated test scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
• Exposure to FDA or ISO 13485 regulated environments.
