BROADLOOM DEPARTMENT

The Broadloom Inspection table operator reports to the Broadloom Inspection Table supervisor. The table operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the inspection table.

Safety. Ensure that all safety precautions are followed. Use cameras and eyes to ensure that all moving parts are clear before putting the table into motion.

Quality Control. While primary inspection is the responsibility of the cut table inspector the cut table operator is to also inspect the carpet from their vantage point as the roll is being ran across the table.

Capacity. Ensure the inspection table is running at full capacity. The table should be properly manned and running at a high rate of speed to ensure that we are making as many cuts as possible.

Performing daily maintenance and cleaning. Daily maintenance on the machines includes (but not limited to) the following important tasks: Run / measure test roll to ensure that the table measuring device is accurate. Check belts, cameras, and other devices. Clean out the machine each day and reporting any issues to the Broadloom Cut Table Supervisor. MONDAY - FRIDAY / 8AM-4:30PM
