Senior Cash Applications Specialist

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a wireless communications company in East Dallas to find a Senior Cash Applications Specialist for a 4-6 month hybrid contract role. An ideal candidate will have experience working in high-volume cash applications, possess excellent attention to detail, and be proficient with financial systems and reconciliation processes working with unapplied cash.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum 4 years of cash applications experience in a high-volume environment

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables)

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Preferred:

Experience in the wireless communications industry

Previous experience with project-based cash applications roles that require extensive research skills

Knowledge of bank reconciliations and accounts receivable processes
