Cornerstone Christian Schools is seeking a High School Principal who will serve as the spiritual and academic leader of our campus-guiding students, supporting faculty, and cultivating a vibrant culture of excellence.

As the High School Principal, you'll oversee daily operations, lead instructional improvement, and build a unified vision for student achievement that reflects our school's mission. From managing accreditation efforts to developing faculty and fostering student growth, this role is central to ensuring our high school flourishes academically, spiritually, and socially.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor instructional and operational practices to ensure alignment with desired outcomes; recommend improvements based on data and observation.

Evaluate and standardize curricula, teaching techniques, and programs to enhance effectiveness and support spiritual integration.

Collaborate with faculty to set curriculum standards and performance benchmarks.

Provide teachers with instructional resources and ongoing professional support.

Observe classrooms to assess instructional quality, student engagement, and alignment with mission-based practices.

Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and Christ-centered character formation among students and staff.

Counsel students and provide support in academic, vocational, and behavioral areas.

Partner with parents and staff to address student concerns and foster a supportive learning environment.

Lead efforts to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.

Facilitate timely and effective conflict resolution among students, staff, and parents.

Build and communicate a shared vision for school improvement and student success.

Use data and research to guide campus improvement plans and decision-making.

Lead accreditation processes and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Determine and plan the scope of educational offerings, staffing needs, and facility usage.

Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate faculty and support staff.

Model collaborative and servant leadership while maintaining high ethical standards.

Lead professional development initiatives and mentor staff to promote instructional growth and mission alignment.

Foster a professional culture of learning, innovation, and teamwork.

Manage campus budget and resources in alignment with organizational policies and financial standards.

Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures as outlined by the organization.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to student and staff performance.

Uphold a visible and consistent leadership presence on campus, especially during key events and school functions.

Demonstrate daily attendance and punctuality as essential functions.

Perform additional duties as needed to support the ministry and its objectives. Education and Experience

Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field required.

Valid administrative certification (if applicable by state or accreditation standards).

Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience; prior administrative experience preferred. Skills and Abilities

Strong instructional leadership and curriculum development expertise.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and make data-informed decisions.

Committed to fostering spiritual growth and modeling Christ-centered leadership.

Ability to navigate complex situations with discretion, professionalism, and compassion.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, employees will frequently be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally, and more than 40 pounds infrequently with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
