Job Summary
The RFR Special Projects Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring accurate billing and payment processes for Rabbinic Field Representatives (mashgichim) when performing non-regular work assignments. This position serves as the primary liaison between the Rabbinic Coordinators (account managers) and the accounting department, ensuring clear and timely communication. The coordinator is responsible for consistent follow-up on non-regular projects, especially when RCs experience delays, and oversee the billing and payment aspects of annual projects such as the Grape Harvest.
Key Responsibilities
Billing and Payment Accuracy: Research and ensure the proper billing and payment of RFRs for non-regular work assignments.
Communication Facilitation: Act as the bridge between RCs and the accounting department to maintain smooth communication and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Project Coordination:
Monitor the progress of non-regular projects and proactively follow up with RCs if responses are delayed.
Coordinate billing and payment workflows for annual projects such as the grape harvest, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline and enhance the billing and payment processes for special projects.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of instructions, project timelines, and communications for reference and audit purposes.
Various other projects or assistance on an as-needed basis, for the Kashrus accounting department. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Diploma.
Experience in accounts management, project coordination, or a similar role preferred.
Basic knowledge of Kosher certification and Kosher processes.
Experience working with field representatives or coordinating multi-departmental projects is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel).
Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Strong technical skills and comfort with troubleshooting basic connectivity or software issues independently, especially important in a fully remote work environment. Preferred Skills

Proven ability to assess and prioritize tasks effectively, following direction from supervisors regarding levels of importance.
Familiarity with general Kosher laws
Aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new computer software, including internally developed programs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies and take proactive steps to resolve them.
