Corbus, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Project Lead to be the connection between Engineering, Supply Chain and Customer Facing Organizations, focused on new make cost, change management, readiness, and execution. Deployed at a Global Aerospace Client, in a manufacturing and supply chain environment, this role is part of a team of project leads and a manager. This role is 5 days per week, 8am-5pm, on-site in West Chester, OH

For assigned commodity/new make hardware, this role is responsible for creating a project plan, coordinating cross functionally to make sure project timeliness are being met, facilitating problem solving, driving continuous improvement, identifying risk and mitigation and reporting out project progress on safety, delivery, quality and cost.

More specifically:

Providing leadership around change management, cost reduction, and producibility improvement for assigned hardware. Collaboratively leading projects to improve assigned components that will benefit both the customer and the business.

Defining the program plans and translating plans into requirements and milestones for the procurement and production of assigned hardware. Creating program/project milestone plans in support of the improvement projects on assigned hardware. Working collaboratively with the cross-functional team to execute the plans.

Utilizing digital tools that minimize report-outs and drive quick decision making. Using many different digital tools to obtain information to solve problems related to assigned hardware. Responsibilities also include:

Driving completion of all aspects of the assigned projects to meet introduction plans without disrupting current configuration production.

Completing accurate project plans for introduction of changes for assigned hardware that include engineering, product line, supply chain, and sourcing milestones & key activities

Reporting out regularly, as instructed, on status of projects for assigned hardware. Qualifications:

Technical/Engineering Diploma/Degree preferred or 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Project Management experience in a Manufacturing and Sourcing environment, with experience related to Aerospace engine components being optimum.

Understanding manufacturing processes like machining, coating, welding/heat treat, composites is required, and experience is a plus.

Experience with taking new make components from engineering to production.

Strong understanding of manufacturing principles from order intake through shipment

Ability to understand and assess a wide range of source/vendor capabilities in manufacturing

Minimum of 2 years and ideally 5 years of Project Management experience

Competence with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Continuous Improvement project and certification in Lean Six Sigma preferred.
