POSITION OVERVIEW

The Cycle Counter will report directly to the Materials Manager/Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for performing daily scheduled cycle counts of finished goods, raw, packaging and in-process materials, reconcile inventory variances and report incorrect inventory statuses. This role will also help support inventory projects and programs to ensure accuracy and compliance with service levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct cycle counts and complete SKU physical counts daily per a preset schedule.

Maintains materials receiving and daily inventory accuracy and cycle counts through adherence to company policies and procedures to provide accurate financial records

Perform bin counts to confirm location contains what is reported in the perpetual book inventory.

Reconcile inventory variances, report incorrect inventory statuses and provide resolutions or adjustments.

Adhere to Cycle Counting procedures and guidelines.

Daily assessment of transactional data integrity and reporting of any significant changes that can affect the day-day operation

FIFO all assigned inventory locations

Investigate discrepancies, adjust for errors and report to the appropriate parties

Provide inventory data analysis

Dispose of damaged, defective, or obsolete products through proper regulatory and quality procedures

Pro-actively encourages continuous improvement and daily problem-solving initiatives to increase operational effectiveness and efficiencies.

Oversee procedures to maintain accurate inventory records

Performs job tasks of other team members of jobs of equal or lower grades

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Customer focused

Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review.

Forklift/Reach truck experience required.

Ability to perform basic accounting and report writing.

1-2 years of experience in Warehouse/ Inventory Control is preferred.

Must have the ability to lift, up to 50 lbs.

Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to work on a raised safety platform at heights of 20-30 feet.

Computer experience with Microsoft Office operations with proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of SAP warehouse and production transactions strongly preferred.
