Who we are looking for

FX Connect is looking for a highly-motivated, visually biased, versatile senior UX Designer to join our user experience (UX) design team within Corporate, Markets and Data. This role will be responsible for defining the product and user experience strategy, understanding and communicating user needs, and working with teams globally to prototype and build new designs in support of new FX Connect features. We are looking for an experienced designer who can build clean and intuitive designs that help to solve complex business problems. A successful candidate will take a team-first approach as they collaborate with engineers, global sales teams, product owners, and buy-side/sell-side end-users to ensure that design decision results in a balanced and thoughtful approach.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As a senior FX Connect UX designer you will:

Lead end-to-end design initiatives for complex web products, including user research, interaction design, and implementation support

Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into intuitive solutions while balancing business requirements

Assist in the planning and execution of user research and usability testing

Contribute to new feature definition and exploration,from concept through delivery, with deliverables that meets business and end-user needs

Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and production quality designs that are used as a foundational part of new feature development

Continually work to standardize, improve and evolve the usability of areas across all FX Connect products

What we value

5+ years industry experience in innovative web product design

Self-driven professional who thrives in fast paced complex environments

Capable of managing multiple projects while still producing high quality output in an intense and fast paced environment

Strong communicator who can articulate design decisions and trade-offs to a diverse group of stakeholders

Experienced in UX design (ability to create sitemaps, wireframes, user journeys, prototypes, etc.) of web products

Able to always think as the end-user in order to consider usage behavior and motivations when creating new designs

Experienced working with modern web design software

Evangelize your creative vision while defending decisions with product usage data and/or industry best practices

Proficient in FIGMA, experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.

Proven ability to deliver comprehensive solutions from wireframes to production implementation

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial services preferred

Exposure to trading systems or foreign exchange systems a plus

Proficient understanding of web standards, capabilities, and best practices (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).

Mastery of design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $177,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
