Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Sterling, VA
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $130,000 – $165,000 annually
Travel: Up to 25%
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in the construction industry to manage small to medium-sized projects or support larger initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mission critical environments, such as data centers or hospitals, where reliability, precision, and adherence to stringent timelines and specifications are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects under senior leadership.
Supervise and support project staff, including Assistant Project Managers.
Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
Prepare and review project estimates, bids, and documentation.
Manage financial performance including cost tracking, progress billing, and forecasting.
Identify, prepare, and negotiate change orders.
Ensure project compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and client expectations.
Coordinate with field teams and attend project meetings as the company representative.
Prepare and submit regular project performance reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
Proven experience managing mission critical projects (e.g., data centers, hospitals, or similar high-reliability facilities).
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Accubid and Oracle preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and standards.
Working Conditions:
Work in both office and active jobsite settings.
Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
Frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
Exposure to varying site conditions and moderate noise levels.
