General Summary
Jefferson Parish Employees Federal Credit Union (JPEFCU) is seeking a full-time Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator will support, configure, and maintain the Windows Servers Environment, Virtual Server Environment and administration of the network. The Systems Administrator will maintain and upgrade networks and servers, install new hardware and applications, and monitor for updates. You will maintain third-party applications, ensure network security and connectivity, and manage user accounts. The Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing the organization’s computer systems or database to ensure proper maintenance and security. Their duties include working with other IT staff and company employees to identify network or computer system needs and overseeing the installation of new hardware or software.

· Consult with users to assess computing needs and system requirements.
· Stay abreast of advances in technology and provide innovation solutions to JPEFCU
· Meet with your direct manager to resolve problems IT issues.
· Provide users with technical support for computer problems.
· Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
· Support Windows 10 & Windows 11 other devices and associated peripherals
· Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO’s, users and computers
· Application support experience with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 Administration, Azure/Entra, Intune, and all Office cloud base products
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in timely manner
· Application support experience with financial Industry Core system Symitar or similar system
· Support and Knowledge of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022
· FortiClient, FortiGate, Support configuration and maintenance for Firewall and Endpoint Protection
· SSL-VPN Support and administration for the end users support
· Must be familiar with industry specifics tools such as image and software deployment, vulnerability scanning, remote management and monitoring, endpoint management, Windows and 3rd party patch management,
· Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPS, EDR/MDR and Basic LAN and WAN technologies
· Working and support knowledge of switch administration for Fortinet and Cisco
· Field Incoming Help Desk Request via Ticketing system
· Working and support knowledge of virtual server administration VMware, Veeam, and Zerto

Job Specifications
· Must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience and certifications) in management information systems, computer information systems, computer science, information technology or a related field
· Three to five years’ experience in system administration, maintenance, operations and user support.
· Must work onsite. This is not a remote position.
· More than one certificate or licenses from Network+, Fortinet, CCNA, MCSA or equivalent
· Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
· Must be a team player and willing to assist where needed.
· Must participate in reciprocal cross training.
· Must have reliable transportation to periodically visit local branches
· Ability to periodically work after hours or weekends to minimize business downtime.
· Ability to provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
