Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers regarding part prototyping and fabrication needs

• Provide customer quotations for executing new product introduction (NPI)/real time manufacturing (RTM) designs

• Take ownership of projects from quotation to shipping

• Collaborate with the NPI/RTM team to ensure flawless execution of every process step

• Conduct design reviews with key stakeholders to manager internal and external expectations

• Project manage and communicate the status of each project to the customer

• Create, maintain, and report performance date regarding the NPI/RTM process

• Develop presentations to highlight potential challenges and propose solutions to the customer

• Develop and communicate contingency and recovery plans to stakeholders as needed

• Contact root cause corrective action (RCCA) and apply lessons learned to ensure overall process improvements

• Analyze technical problems and provide solutions

• Record procedures and results, including numerical and graphical data, and recommend changes in product or test methods

• Design fixturing and tooling as needed

• Ensure the delivery of products from NPI and RTM to production, including clear work statements, work instructions (WI), and setup sheets

• Disposition non-conformances (NCs), submit customer notification forms, and assist in submitting first article inspections

• Develop specifications and produce documents for manufacturing

• Ensure compliance and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree

• Minimum 2 years of experience in design and machining

• Experienced with GD&T and SPC

• Experience in SolidWorks

• Experienced with Dimensional Analysis and Configuration Control a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and technical writing abilities

• Sound organizational skills

• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
