Counselor

Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):

Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in appropriate discipline. Education or STEM.

Brief Description of Duties:

The Counselor will recruit students; obtain school records and hold in school meetings for STEP staff to satisfy sponsor guidelines.

Duties:

To work with STEP administration in identifying and recruiting candidates for participation in STEP Program.

Hold meetings with accepted students.

Perform STEM activities with students to enhance understanding of STEM concepts.

Secure all necessary paperwork required by sponsor on each student.

Other duties as assigned.

Special Notes:

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.

Evening and weekend work will be required at times.
