Personal Injury Legal Assistant (Hybrid)

About the Job
Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives while maintaining a healthy work-life balance? Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join their team supporting their personal injury practice through both pre-litigation and litigation phases.
Key Responsibilities
Manage client case files with attention to detail and empathy.
Conduct intake interviews and maintain regular communication with clients.
Assist attorneys in preparation for meetings with witnesses, clients, officers, and experts; depositions; hearings; mediation; trial; and client closing.
Organize legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and subpoenas.
Coordinate and schedule appointments, depositions, and trial-related meetings.
Request and track medical records and bills from healthcare providers.
Set up appointments and coordinate bill payments for clients.
Calculate and calendar court deadlines.
Work within a case management system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of Personal Injury experience is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized and tech-savvy.
Experience with client intake and case management.
Legal software experience preferred; bonus if you’ve worked with Litify.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment
Office-based role requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.
Manual dexterity for operating standard office equipment.
