Port Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Port Engineer to oversee the maintenance, repair, and technical performance of a fleet of vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards across various regions.
Port Engineer Responsibilities
Manage vessel maintenance schedules, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
Conduct inspections and oversee repairs during dry-docking and emergency situations.
Collaborate with vessel crews, technical superintendents, and contractors to ensure high standards of technical performance.
Monitor fuel efficiency and environmental compliance of vessels.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
Provide technical support to the operations team.
Port Engineer Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Port Engineer or in a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, dry-docking, and repair management.
Familiarity with international maritime regulations, including ISM and MARPOL.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
