Our expertise spans real estate development, architecture, interior design, and construction, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.
Position Summary
We are seeking a 10+ years experience Architectural Designer to manage the architectural design and documentation process for our high-end residential projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a keen design sensibility, technical rigor, and a collaborative spirit. You will be responsible for overseeing all architectural phases— from feasibility studies and schematic design through permitting and construction administration—ensuring seamless integration of design intent with buildability and budget.
You will work in close partnership with our Development and Construction teams, serving as a key liaison to ensure that architectural vision is realized on-site. As a senior leader within the team, you’ll also mentor junior staff and help uphold and evolve the firm’s design and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the development of detailed architectural and construction drawings using advanced Revit skills, ensuring accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with project goals.
· Prepare and manage complete construction document sets—including plans, elevations, sections, and details—while coordinating with structural, MEP, and other consultants to integrate all building systems.
· Translate design concepts into buildable solutions, contributing to technical detailing, constructability, and cost-efficient decision-making throughout all project phases.
· Conduct weekly site visits and maintain clear communication with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure execution aligns with design intent and timelines.
· Collaborate with development, construction, and design departments to deliver high-performance, fully integrated project solutions.
· Oversee zoning analysis, code compliance, and permitting processes to support project feasibility and approvals.
· Mentor junior staff and interns, while also leading design coordination meetings and contributing to internal standards, templates, and quality control protocols.
· Monitor project timelines and budgets from pre-design through close-out, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
· Support material selection and specifications, balancing aesthetic vision, performance, and budget constraints.
· Advise leadership on project staffing and team resourcing needs as the firm grows.
