Senior Cost Estimator

Job Description

Sunland Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator for immediate placement as part of our San Antonio Airport Terminal Development Team. This position will be responsible for estimating change request during design and construction phases. The Sr. Estimator must interface with other estimating disciplines as well as the other members of the Project Team and Owner Representatives.

Requirements:

Estimate construction project cost for various types of projects

Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude

Analytical skills and attention to detail

Responsible, ethical, and conscientious nature

Excellent spoken and written communication skills

Presentation and communication skills appropriate for meetings with clients and management

Minimum10 years of construction estimating experience

Ability to provide cost at a high conceptual or programming level

Lead estimating team review for estimating quantities and scope of project

Preferences:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field of study preferred.

Field experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
