Vice President of Sales – PEO

Location: Palm Harbor, Florida Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Executive

About the Role:

Vested HR is in search of an entrepreneurial, high energy and results driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales organization within the PEO industry. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR outsourcing, payroll administration, benefits and risk management. The ideal candidate thrives on building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing sales teams while driving revenue growth. The income target for this role is well over $400,000 per year with salary, overrides and performance bonuses.

Vested HR is a payroll and human resource partner for businesses that want the best for their employees but also want to spend less time on HR and more time on their business. Through our PEO service model, we help our clients succeed while alleviating the worry and complexity of payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation and HR.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with business objectives.

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of disciplined and highly motivated sales consultants.

Drive new client acquisition through strategy and practical training of sales consultants.

Establish and refine scalable sales processes and monitored performance metrics.

Build strong relationships with business owners, HR professionals, and industry partners.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership to refine product offerings.

Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape to enhance Vested’s position in the market.

Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and client meetings.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in sales leadership, with at least 3+ years in the PEO industry or related HR/payroll/benefits services.

Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and scaling a sales organization.

Strong knowledge of HR outsourcing, payroll administration, benefits, and risk services.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Bachelor's degree required, Master’s or relevant certifications a plus.

Strong financial acumen to clearly develop sales plans, budgets, forecasting and annual plans.
