Our location in Lexington, KY is expanding and seeking a full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistants to join our amazing team!

What We’re Looking For:

Upbeat, reliable, team players

Proficient in multitasking in a fast-paced dental office environment

Enjoy working with children

Previous experience preferred but not required

What We Offer:

Competitive pay: $15-$17/hr (based on experience and certifications)

No weekends: We work 4 days a week (7:30 am-5:30 pm)

A Day In the Life Of

Daily Duties:

Chair-side assisting during procedures

Sterilization of instruments and equipment

Taking x-rays

Coronal polishing

Processing lab work for the dentist

Advising patients on recommended oral hygiene

Updating and maintaining dental records

What You'll Bring To The Table

Experience:

Proven experience as an expanded duties dental assistant (preferred)

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

Understanding of health & safety regulations

Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus

Excellent communication, computer, and people skills

Attention to detail

Proficient in organizing

Education and Certification:

High school diploma/GED

Must be EDDA Certified

Certificate for Coronal Polishing

Additional certification or training is an asset

Dental X-Ray Certification
