Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in graphics design, fine arts, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Four years of experience in graphics design, web development, print and electronic media, marketing, or related design field
Preferred Qualifications:
Linked or attached portfolio showcasing expert level print and digital content creation
Demonstrated consistency in graphic design when promoting a brand
Demonstrated ability to produce expert level print, and consistent digital content creation within a brand
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to effectively generate systematic strategies and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs: Adobe Creative Cloud, Clickup or equivalent project management system.
Ability to orally comprehend and express information and use inductive and deductive reasoning
Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff, groups of various sizes
Responsibilities
Strategic Direction and Oversight:
Provides strategic direction and oversight of the design and development processes for unit deliverable projects
Researches and implements design and development best practices
Develops systems that aid in the creation of digital and print deliverables
Develops conceptual design solutions and strategies
Provides brand oversight, leadership, and guidance
Creative and Technical Design:
Conceptualizes and implements creative work, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
Performs expert-level graphics design and consultation work
Assists in designing graphic communications for various platforms
Provides art direction and strategic management of various projects including social media and integrated communication campaigns
Advises on editing needs for editorial, marketing, advertising, development, and general content
Project Management:
Manages projects and coordinates production schedules
Works closely with vendors in support of the printing and purchasing of other collateral needs
Manages documentation for each project, including approvals, comments, drafts, and artwork
Ensures timeliness, quantity, quality, and customer satisfaction with final products
Client and Partner Collaboration:
Presents branding and design concepts to clients and partners
Advises and collaborates with clients and partners to ensure adherence to brand guidelines
Provides highest level of customer support and consultancy in development of all materials, from concept to creation
Training and Mentorship:
Assists in developing and implementing comprehensive, strategic communication programs
Provides guidance and support in the use of design tools and software
