Global Lead, Digital Campaigns

As a leader in this transformation, you'll have the opportunity to shape our global digital presence. This role involves managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, optimizing campaign tools and effectively using agency support. Our strategy ensures steady, impactful progress through careful planning and prioritization of initiatives.

This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a blend of big-picture thinking and direct involvement in our projects. This role is designed for someone who is highly strategic and experienced but is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive deep into the work.

The new Global Digital Campaigns Lead is preferably based in USA. This is a remote position, referring to the Global Digital Head, in the Global Digital Marketing Team located in Europe. Travel required 10 – 20%.

Your Responsibilities

Digital Omnichannel Campaign Strategy & Planning: Oversee global digital omnichannel campaigns, ensuring alignment with digital best practices, brand activations, and regional goals and objectives. Supporting the digital strategy for efficiency and effectiveness

Coordination, Management & Alignment: Work with internal teams and external partners to execute campaigns seamlessly. Collaborate with design, copywriting, and marketing teams globally and locally for integrated campaign execution. Ensure alignment across omnichannel campaigns to engage target audiences on digital platforms like web, social media, media, email, and webinars

Campaign Activations & Distribution: Define and set up digital journeys using marketing automation platforms to maximize reach and engagement

Audience Engagement: In partnership with digital marketing leads (social media/ web/ media/search) support the co-ordination and development of efficiency & engagement tactics that foster meaningful and measurable interactions with our audiences across omnichannel activities

Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyse metrics to provide insights and recommendations for campaign optimizations. Identify areas for improvement and optimization based on data insights. Regularly report on campaign performance and ROI. Support A/B testing and other optimization and automation techniques to improve campaign results

Training: Train commercial partners on omnichannel campaign best practices and trends, campaign and automation tools, ensuring they are equipped to effectively represent and support our brand(s) in the digital space

Governance: Establish and enforce governance related to content production, including the development of guidelines, processes, and campaign tools to maintain high-quality content standards

Skills & Requirements:

Degree in digital marketing communications, or a related field

At least 10 years of experience in digital marketing communications, with a proven track record of successful digital omnichannel campaigns and driving engagement

Pharmaceutical industry experience is a must

Strong cross-functional, lateral leadership skills and ability to work independently

Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude

Customer-centric, conversion-driven

Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO/SEM, media, email marketing, social media, and analytics

Media network activations and media management experience a plus

Creative & out-of-the-box thinker

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills

Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Veeva) and marketing automation platforms (Sales Force Marketing Cloud, etc.)

Experience with designing journey-based omnichannel campaigns

Experience with AI tools for content ideation, creation, and optimization

Outstanding project management skills\
