Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer/solution-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. Prior experience in fleet coordination/management, preferably for a luxury transportation service, and exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills are a must. In this role, you will dispatch chauffeurs to specific work locations to safely and timely transfer clients or perform other job roles as assigned.

Duties

Coordinates day to day operations and dispatches chauffeurs to safely and timely transfer clients from one location to another, ensuring seamless problem solving, customer satisfaction and exceptional experience.

Ensures transactions are smooth and successfully recorded.

Receives transfer requests, determines and manages work schedules accordingly, including informing chauffeurs of type and location of work to be performed and dispatching them to jobs.

Calls and receives check in calls from chauffeurs by radio, telephone, or in person.

Keeps records of transfers and hours required on each job.

Reviews work orders and complaints from customers and records type and scope of service to be performed.

Overseas company vehicles, including acquisition, financing, maintenance, and replacement as needed.

Negotiates contracts with vendors performing maintenance and repairs.

Develops and manages fleet budget.

Creates and enforces transportation-related policies.

Conducts investigations in cooperation with government agencies when needed to determine causes of transportation accidents and to improve safety procedures.

Maintains records related to compliance with DOT regulations.

Monitors vehicle performance, and cost.

Plans and implements energy-saving changes, such as reducing routes, optimizing capacities, employing alternate modes of transportation, or minimizing idling.

Maintains professional business attire.

Ensures the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles.

Ensures adherence to traffic laws and regulations.

Utilizes fleet management software on a computer or mobile as necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years of experience as a dispatcher or in fleet coordination/management, preferably for a luxury transportation service.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to smoothly coordinate and manage a luxury fleet, including budgeting and development and enforcement of transportation-related policies.

Knowledge of basic vehicle operations and maintenance.

Excellent customer service skills with highly professional demeanor.

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Strong and effective communications skills.

Ability to comply with transportation rules and regulations.

Knowledge of traffic laws, routes and traffic patterns in the target areas.

Ability to work flexible schedules as needed.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Reliability and punctuality are a must.

Must consent to and pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $21-24 per hour.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week.

Benefits: Paid time off.

Schedule:

Day shift with paid extended hours as needed.

Monday to Friday.

Weekends as needed.

Travel requirements:

Some travel may be required.
