Customer Service Representative - Transactions Processor and Customer Experience

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team for the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (Summer EBT) program. These temporary roles offer a valuable opportunity to contribute to a crucial initiative and gain experience in program support and customer service. We have openings for the following positions: Transaction Processor Hybrid (Wave 1), Customer Experience Associate (Wave 2), and Transaction Processor (Wave 3).
About the Program:
The Summer EBT program provides essential food benefits to eligible families during the summer months. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing of benefits and providing support to program participants.
1. Transaction Processor Hybrid - Wave 1
Responsibilities:
Focus on the initial stages of the program, likely involving data entry, application processing, and verification tasks.
Review and process participant applications and related documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with program guidelines.
Respond to basic inquiries related to application status and initial program information.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth processing workflows.
Maintain organized records of processed information.
May involve some initial customer contact via phone or email.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent data entry skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
Good organizational skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
2. Customer Experience Associate - Wave 2
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for Summer EBT participants, providing excellent customer service via phone, email, and potentially in person.
Provide comprehensive information about program benefits, eligibility, and usage.
Assist participants with resolving issues, answering questions, and navigating program requirements.
Maintain accurate records of interactions and resolutions.
Collaborate with the processing teams to address participant concerns.
May involve outreach efforts and providing support at community events.
Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
Proven experience in customer service or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficiency in computer applications and CRM systems (preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Transaction Processor - Wave 3
Responsibilities:
Focus on the later stages of the program, potentially involving benefit reconciliation, data analysis, and reporting.
Process and reconcile benefit transactions with accuracy.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in data.
Assist with the preparation of program reports.
Ensure compliance with program regulations.
May involve communication with internal stakeholders regarding data and reporting.
Maintain organized and accurate records.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in a related field preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in data entry and database management (preferred).
Ability to work independently and manage data effectively.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Important Details (Applicable to All Roles):
Training required: 12-16 days at your start
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week).
Work Environment: Primarily in an office setting.
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (depending on the specific role, experience, and qualifications).
Training: Comprehensive training will be provided for each role.
