The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts. This role is crucial in ensuring our product teams are ordering the right amount of product and avoiding overstock. This position is solely focused and responsible for the accuracy of all inventory counts for the Tolleson site.
This role reports to the Warehouse Manager. Thorough knowledge of Inventory Planner, Shopify, ShipHero are a plus. Familiarity with inventory systems and WMS are a must. A successful Inventory controller should have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, proficiency in inventory management software, effective communication, problem-solving, and a solid understanding of supply chain logistics.
We are currently looking for a dedicated Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for production planning and analytics.
Job Duties:
Maintain accurate inventory records through daily efforts via cycle counts and periodic full inventory counts. If there is a discrepancy it must be resolved within SLA.
This role is expected to perform various inventory counts for accuracy and to minimize discrepancies.
Track inbound containers, POs and receive inbound shipments.
Monitor inventory related operations for quality assurance. Stepping in to resolve problems and correct issues as they arise.
Issue weekly and monthly reports about stock levels and any inventory issues currently being worked through.
Storing non-pickable inventory or moving non-pickable inventory to pickable locations.
Participate in yearly inventory counts and daily cycle counts.
Create a cycle count schedule to rotate through inventory on a regular cadence.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
Great communication skills to articulate inventory to others with varying levels of familiarity
Proficiency in supply chain management principles
Experience with systems such as Tableau, MRP, or similar inventory management tools
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
Ability to collect and analyze data to drive inventory optimization strategies
Knowledge of production planning processes and their impact on inventory management

Preferred Traits
2+ years of experience in inventory management and control preferred
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
Requirements

Familiarity with stocking, e-commerce, and supplier management
Experience in production planning and supply chain analytics
